Cozy and personal
So the question is, how to create elegance with a strong and powerful space? It’s a common issue we had to deal with a lot of times; spacious rooms that will turn into a undeniable beauty. A place that feels warm and cozy instead of impersonal and cold. Now hold on for our secret wainscoting solutions.
Why wainscoting? It directly makes a big difference and characterises a wall by its relief. The wall becomes a personality on its own and it creates a very specific and elegant atmosphere. But the difficult part is choosing. Wainscoting is out there in a lot of different ways and sizes. The next wainscoting decor is for example pretty unique, and not too overwhelming. Have a look at the next wall decor in a Spanish restaurant called LAN LAN:
Brilliance from Belgium
A company we like to work with for wainscoting is, don’t tell anyone, Orac Decor. They are giving you a lot of charming ideas, in different styles. A company based in ‘Oostende’ Belgium and product development is one of their keys to succes in the past 40 years. Traditionally, wainscoting was made of plaster and wood. Very heavy and hard to adapt. Orac’s panels are made of recycled plastic. Plastic in a classic and sophisticated way. Who would say that?
Wainscoting in our project
Currently we’re working at a residential project in Amsterdam where we chose for masculine ‘boiserie’ by Orac Decor. As you can see in our concept drawings. On top of that, we will install indirect lighting build in the ceiling. This is how we try to create a warm ambient that gives you a feelings that is called ‘home’…
What do you think of our plans? We will definitely share the images of the end result when the project is finished! Keep on following us and you won’t miss the result of how we turn a bare apartment into a sophisticated loft.
