As we’re a big fan of patterns, different materials and unique shapes, we’re writing a lot about this. It’s our taste for design that is developing more and more. Which causes that plains are more on the background. So today we say it’s time for something else; interior design color palettes of plain fabrics. Find out the beauty of simplicity and how to combine fabrics.
‘In the mood’
First, color is the base of a project, a request, a mood and a style. Because that’s what interior design is all about. Creating a nice color balance between the different pieces, rooms and exterior. Second, we pick patterns and materials that fit perfectly within the rooms and areas. When these things are settled, we create balance by choosing plains. They make sure that everything will be tight up together in one and make it smooth. In these pictures we show designer fabrics with different weavings, all special plains by Sanderson.
In these pictures you’ll find only plains mixed together, it’s not our kind of styling. We use plains together with bold and more dramatic designs, because that makes a room personal, unique and inspiring. For example one of our interior design project below:
The sofa ties everything together: wood crafted wall object, brown design cushion with pattern and the greens. In the rest of the room there is another petrol blue tone, which ties with the light blue tone of the sofa, et voilà!
